Course Description:
This course it designed to meet the specific needs of the healthcare industry. The course provides general industry workers, supervisors, and other personnel responsible for work related activities with an awareness of health and safety concerns in the workplace. All attendees will become familiar with reading and using the OSHA 29CFR1910 General Industry Standards. In additional the course will introduce other OSHA and related healthcare industry regulations for discussion. Attendees will be presented with more safety and health related information and OSHA Standards as compared to the 10-Hour OSHA General Industry course. The 30-Hour course will cover all the OSHA Subparts of the standard and meets all OSHA requirements for time and content. Attendees who successfully pass the course will receive their OSHA 30-hour completion card.
