Course Description:

This 30-hour workplace safety and health course (29 CFR 1915) augments the introductory 10-hour outreach training by adding designated topics and hours germane to shipyard employment, including ship repairing, shipbuilding, and ship breaking. Applicable OSHA maritime safety standards and subparts are covered. This 30-hour shipyard employment outreach training program functions as a standards course for individuals with safety responsibilities at shipyards.
