Course Description:

The 10-hour Maritime Outreach Course for Shipyard Employment is intended to provide entry-level safety and health hazard information tailored to shipyard employees involved in ship repairing, shipbuilding, and ship breaking. This entry-level course focuses on identification, avoidance, control, and prevention  – not OSHA standards. This course is taught by an OSHA-authorized instructor. Participants who complete the course will receive a card from OSHA verifying their completion of the course.
