Course Description:

This  OSHA 10 Hour Construction Course was developed by the U.S. Department of Labor to provide construction workers, supervisors, and other personnel responsible for construction activities with an awareness of construction health and safety concerns in the construction industry.

All attendees will become familiar with reading and using the OSHA 29CFR 1926 Construction Standards. Other OSHA related regulations will also be discussed. Students will receive an update and review of standard construction safety and health principles and information that will prepare them to recognize and control a variety of hazardous conditions.

Note:

  • OSHA limits all OSHA Outreach Training (classroom and online) to a maximum of 7.5 hours training per day in all OSHA 10-Hour courses. As a result, all 10-Hour courses must be delivered over a minimum of two days.
  • OSHA also defines Program Jurisdiction Restrictions. Outreach Training Programs are limited to OSHA Jurisdiction only. Student course completion cards can only be issued for students within U.S. jurisdiction (the 50 States and certain U.S. Territories).
  • You must complete this online training within 180 days.
